  • Q. Why do I have to accept a security prompt?
  • A. This will enable you to watch the Vividas movie. Accepting the security prompt allows the signed and verified video
         player software to run on your computer.

  • Q. Why is the trailer/movie pausing (buffering)?
  • A. Buffering can occur for the following reasons:
        * The connection speed you chose (HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW) is faster than your actual internet connection.
        * You have other programs accessing the Internet.
        * You have a wireless connection that is slowing the data rate.
        * Your connection is slow during a peak Internet usage time.
    From the movie simply:
        * Press ESC
        * Close any other programs accessing the internet
        * Select a lower connection speed
        * Continue watching.

  • Q. I can watch the trailer, but when I watch the feature I get the message "Failed content Check” or “Unable to
         connect to media source”.
  • A. The Vividas player communicates with a server via http, and authenticates your playback. For this reason, all
         communication from the web-browser must be permitted.
         Blocking any of this traffic (for example, with a personal firewall) will cause the video to stop playing.
         Also, as the online movie is a pay-per-view item it can only be watched once in its entirety per payment.
         To view the movie again, another purchase is required.

  • Q. Is it possible to download the online movie to my computer?
  • A. No, it’s not possible to do this. The movie is progressively downloaded in RAM memory and progressively discarded.

  • Q. Can I stop the stream mid way through ?
  • A. It is possible to stop the stream at any point within the movie. To come back to the remaining stream at a later date,
         simply log back into your account.
